URS Auditing Nurses Receive Certification in Medical Coding
After completing an accredited course offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders, a number of our R.N. Auditing Staff Nurses have earned the designation of C.P.C. (Certified Professional Coder).
This certification enhances their qualifications in providing clinically based bill auditing services to our clients, as well as strengthens their ability to prevail in arbitration or litigation proceedings involving the appropriateness of medical billing and coding.
URS continues to achieve substantial medical cost reductions through its Medical Bill Auditing programs. Because of our ability to focus on both the clinical and coding aspects of bills, our services have become increasingly important tools for the claims administrator in controlling costs. With this additional certification, our services will deliver enhanced value to claims operations, SIU investigators and the defense team.
We congratulate our Auditing Nurses for their achievement!
